In my art practice I mainly investigate themes such as war, mental health, identity, gender and belonging. My research here mainly focuses on the mental health of all of us, but especially young adults and the uncertain future.
More and more young people are suffering from mental health problems. I desire to portray this during my solo show “What a shit show”.
The past few years have been very difficult for all of us, the pandemic, war, the housing market, student fees... etc. The social and economic consequences of this have affected mental health, especially young people who feel very insecure about the future.
